Last updated 11 August 2026. These cover the product as it works today.
The photobooth is free to use right now. Nothing is on sale, so nothing on this site can currently be bought.
LUMEE BOOTH is a browser-based live event experience. A host creates an event entrance and Look, then guests take three photographs once. All three make the Photo Strip and Moving Polaroid; the guest picks their favourite for the Magazine Cover. Installation as a web app is optional; an account is not required.
You may use the photobooth for your own events. Please do not use it to photograph people who have not agreed to be photographed, and please respect the law and the venue you are in. You are responsible for the photos you take and for what you do with them afterwards.
You keep all rights in the photographs you take. We do not receive them, do not store them and make no claim to them. See Privacy for exactly where they live.
This is the most important practical thing to understand. The booth stores your photos and event settings in your browser on the device you are using. That means:
A Setup Pass can deliberately copy event configuration to another device. It carries no photographs, logo, paid entitlement or running event clock, and importing it leaves the event as a draft. It is host setup information, not a cloud backup or guest-facing event link. If the photos matter, save or share them off the device while you still can.
An optional four-digit Guest PIN is a lightweight local gate for the event entrance. It is checked on the event device, not by a server, and is not secure password protection. Do not reuse an important PIN or rely on it to protect sensitive information. Repeated failed attempts are briefly delayed, but clearing local browser state can also clear that local protection.
The photobooth is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of faults. It depends on your device and browser supporting secure camera access, and on your device having room to store what it creates. Moving Polaroid additionally depends on a usable on-device video encoder. Safari and iPadOS support varies by version and device; where a moving file cannot be created, the booth keeps the finished still available rather than claiming motion exists. Native Share and download behaviour also belongs to the device and browser. We may change or withdraw features.
Paid plans are not open and checkout is disabled. The intended catalogue is Free £0, One Party $44 and Annual $377. Founding Lifetime and the former six-month plan are retired from sale; their identifiers and recovery compatibility are retained, but the recovery service is not presently open. These stated prices describe the planned products and are not an offer to sell while checkout remains closed.
For a future One Party purchase, creating, paying for, editing, previewing or moving the configuration to another device will not start the event. The 48-hour live period will begin only after the host deliberately confirms Start Event. Entering or reaching a planned event date will not start it either. If and when plans open, the terms that apply to a purchase — including cancellation — will be published and shown before payment. See Cancellation for what has and has not been decided.
We are not liable for photographs that are lost because a device was cleared, replaced or ran out of space, nor for events where the booth could not run because a device, browser or camera did not permit it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
