Last updated 11 August 2026. This describes what the photobooth does today, not what it may do later.
The photobooth runs entirely in your browser. Your photos are taken, edited and saved on your own device. They are not uploaded to us, and we do not have a copy of them.
A Setup Pass is a link you deliberately copy or share to move event configuration to another device. The configuration sits in the link's URL fragment, which browsers do not send to the hosting server. It contains no photographs, logo, payment entitlement or running event clock, but it can contain your event name, date, location, Look and the derived values needed for an optional Guest PIN. If you send the link through a messaging or email service, that service receives the link under its own privacy terms.
A four-digit Guest PIN is lightweight access control on the event device. A salted SHA-256 verifier is stored locally and failed attempts are briefly throttled, but the check is not enforced by a server and is not secure password protection. Do not reuse an important PIN. Treat a Setup Pass as private host setup information, not as a public guest link.
There is currently no Personal-event account, cloud record or durable public event link from which LUMEE BOOTH can retrieve your booth.
Save writes the image or video to your device, as any download would.
Share hands the file to your device's own share sheet. What happens after that is entirely your choice, and outside our control — if you send a photo to a messaging app, a social network or an email, that service receives the file and its own privacy terms apply.
We say this plainly because "your photos never leave your device" would not be accurate: they stay on your device as far as the booth is concerned, and they leave only when you deliberately send them somewhere.
Nothing is currently on sale, so no payment is processed and no payment details are handled at all. The intended consumer catalogue is Free £0, One Party $44 and Annual $377; Founding Lifetime is retired. Those product decisions do not enable checkout. When paid plans open, payment will be taken by a payment provider who receives the payment details directly — we would not see or store card details — and this page will be updated to say exactly who that is before anything goes on sale.
The Business version of the product is designed to record an attendee's consent decisions — and, only where an organiser has enabled it and the attendee has separately given permission, to collect photographs. None of that is running. The server component it needs is not deployed, no Business event has been configured, and no attendee data has ever been collected. This section will be rewritten with specifics before that changes.
Because booth data is stored on your device, you are in control of it. Clearing this site's browser data removes the photos, gallery, event settings and local Guest PIN verifier. There is no Personal-event copy for us to delete and no cloud backup — so if you clear it, or use private browsing, it is gone. A Setup Pass previously shared elsewhere is a separate copy of its configuration and cannot be recalled by clearing this device.
Since we do not hold your photos or any account, there is generally nothing for us to look up, correct or delete on request. If you have a question about privacy, or believe something here is inaccurate, contact us and we will put it right.
